In the local dialect, “gofareh” refers to a bed made of wood and palm tree leaves. In the southern part of the country, all parts of the palm tree are used in making practical tools for life. Gofareh is usually built in the yards of houses and palm groves. This wooden bed is used for resting and gathering the family together at all times and some nights.
