Gafareh

In the local dialect, "Gafareh" refers to a platform made from wood and palm leaves. In southern Iran, all parts of the palm tree are used to make practical household items.

Gafareh is usually built in the yards of homes and palm groves. This wooden platform is used for resting and gathering family members at any time of day or night.
