Qeshm Global Island Exemplary Tourism Village

Sohaili is one of the villages in Hormozgan Province, located in the Hara District, a subdivision of Qeshm County in southern Iran. With a population of 2,236, it lies 60 kilometers from the city of Qeshm and 10 kilometers from Qeshm International Airport. Its name originates from a historic peace agreement between the Bani Mo’in and Bas’eidi tribes. From the summit of Mount Samuran, the highest point in Sohaili, one can easily view both the northern and southern parts of Qeshm as well as Hengam Island.
