“Chi-Chaka: Hara Soheili” Mangrove Seed Collection Event to Be Held with Children

The “Chi-Chaka: Hara Soheili” event will bring children together to collect mangrove seeds in Soheili, Qeshm, on Wednesday, September 2, 2026.

The Islamic Council and Dehyari of Soheili Global Village, with the support of the Deputy for Cultural, Social and Tourism Affairs, will host “Chi-Chaka: Hara Soheili”, a community and environmental event centered around mangrove seed collection by children.

As part of the program, children will take part in collecting mangrove seeds while learning about the unique ecosystem of the Hara mangrove forests and the importance of protecting this valuable natural heritage.

The event aims to encourage environmental awareness among younger generations and strengthen the role of local communities and children in preserving the mangrove ecosystem.
