One of the old neighborhoods, Mokh Sheikh, is located in the southeast part of the village. This neighborhood has old houses with traditional texture, featuring windcatchers and covered walkways (sabats), which are characteristic of old houses in this area. Below this area are some of the village’s palm groves, located along the Karband outlet.
In Mokh Sheikh neighborhood, there is an old mosque with a traditional architectural plan built on a clay mound. The mosque’s design is based on local architecture and constructed with traditional materials. In front of the mosque, there is a platform for worshippers to sit. To the east of the mosque is a new water pool supplied through a canal. Also, an old water well near the mosque still contains water and was formerly used for public consumption, with an adjacent watering place for animals.
