In Soheili Village, Qeshm, our goal is to give hope to the disabled.
Abdul Majid Salaghi Soheili added on Wednesday, April 17: Serving the disabled in the field of tourism services is one of the honors of the people of the local community of this exemplary tourism village, and this duty is not just a promotional slogan for the people of this village and its human values.
Pointing out that the tourism development plan for Soheili Village on Qeshm Island is a comprehensive plan with a coherent roadmap, he said: Part of this plan deals with the social sustainability of tourism and the issue of accessibility of attractions and tourism facilities for the disabled is included under it.
The head of the Islamic Council of the Hara District of Qeshm Island explained: Today, with the aim of realizing the slogan "Family health and popularizing health - good health is something that can be built," providing special tourism and nature tours for the disabled has become a common thing, even in difficult-to-reach areas.
Salaghi Soheili added: In addition to physical accessibility, museums around the world also provide information about all objects in museums to deaf and blind people through application software or audio guide devices, and the blind can become familiar with museum objects through accessible models.
He stated that in order to realize the plan for accessibility for the disabled to the marine forest and the amazing mangrove as one of the biosphere reserves and the common heritage of the world community on Qeshm Island, the mass media must, through cultural development, bring them out of their homes and put their hands in our hands. He stated: "Since the beginning of this year, with the support of one of the investors in the private tourism sector of this island, who is a resident of this village, we are now witnessing the implementation of the first part of the accessibility of the disabled who are blind, deaf or hard of hearing to this forest."
A member of the Islamic Council of Soheili Village said: This important matter has been completed with the aim of improving the competitiveness of the village at the national and international levels with the participation of government and private sector stakeholders, and its integrated training program will also be implemented in the first 6 months of this year with the aim of increasing skills so that skilled and professional human resources can provide quality services to tourists and visitors.
Ezzatollah Zarghami, Minister of Cultural Heritage, Tourism and Handicrafts, stated this morning - Wednesday - on the sidelines of the government board meeting and in front of reporters: Soheili Village in Qeshm has been the first place in people's residence, and the Jewel of Ramsar is in the next place.
