The ‘Good Vibes with Dokhtolok’ Campaign Launched from Soheili, Qeshm

Coinciding with Handicrafts Week, the Good Vibes with Dokhtolok campaign was launched in the model tourism village of Soheili, Qeshm.

According to Hara News, Dokhtolok (also spelled Dokhtrolok) is a type of traditional handmade cloth doll in Iran, crafted in different styles and techniques across local cultures. These dolls, usually made from colorful fabrics and hand-sewn decorations, are part of the collective memories of many Iranians.

This campaign pursues three main goals: preserving and introducing handicrafts to the new generation, empowering rural children, and strengthening the spirit of empathy and social responsibility.

By reviving the traditional art of doll-making, the campaign seeks to reconnect today’s children with their cultural heritage. This time, however, Dokhtolok is not just a toy—it becomes a bridge between rural children and children battling cancer, a gift carrying a message of hope and solidarity.

Children participating in the campaign will gift their handmade dolls to young cancer fighters, learning that art is not only about beauty, but can also be a powerful tool for spreading hope.
